Authors who publish in the Journal of Private and Property Law (JPPL), Rivers State University retain the copyright to their articles. By submitting and publishing in the journal, authors grant JPPL the right of first publication.

All articles published in JPPL are licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original author(s) and the source (JPPL) are properly credited.

Under this license, users are free to share, copy, redistribute, adapt, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use, as long as appropriate attribution is given to the author(s) and the journal.

Authors are also permitted to deposit the published version of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, and other academic or indexing platforms, provided that proper acknowledgment is given to the original publication in JPPL.
