Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

 

Contributors should keep the following guidelines in mind.

  1. All papers must be original and should NOT have been submitted
    elsewhere for publication.
  2. Papers submitted for publication must be in English language, typed,
    double-spaced on an A4 size paper using Microsoft Office Word, Times New Roman Style and in font 12.
  3. Footnotes should also be in Times NewRoman 10 font size and must be placed seriatim at the bottom of each page. Endnotes are not permitted.
  4. Papers should not be more than 5,000 words and must conform to the NALT standard referencing styles of legal research. Case reviews should not exceed 12 pages.
  5. Papers submitted must have a cover page containing names, titles, institutional affiliations, qualifications, email addresses and phone numbers of the authors.
  6. Papers must contain an abstract not exceeding 250 words, an introduction and a conclusion. 7) Papers submitted for publication will be sent out for blind review/assessment and feedbacks
    will thereafter be communicated to contributors as may be appropriate.
  7. Papers submitted for publication should be sent via email as a MS Word attachment to the following email addresses: charlesagwor@gmail.com and omubo-pepple.samuel@ust.edu.ng.
  8. Deadline for receipt of papers: 30th August, 2023
