Theme: Exploring New Frontiers in Private and Property Law for Sustainable Development in Nigeria

The third conference of the Department of Private and Property Law with the theme: Exploring New Frontiers in Private and Property Law for Sustainable Development in Nigeria held at the Dr Ezenwo Nyesom Wike Senate Auditorium, Rivers State University on the 5th day of June, 2025. The conference had a panel discussion and 6 paper presentations. 286 persons with 132 undergraduate students registered for the conference.
A welcome address was delivered by Prof Grace O Akolokwu, Head, Department of Private and Property Law while the conference was declared open by its Chairman, Hon Justice Iche N Ndu (Rtd), OFR, DSSR and former Chief Judge of Rivers State. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, Deputy Governor, Bayelsa State represented by Hon Justice Iche Ndu, DSSRS (Rtd).
