The Journal of Private and Property Law, Rivers State University, is committed to the pursuit, diffusion, and advancement of knowledge in the field of private and property law in Nigeria. As a result, the Journal encourages scholarly articles, brief notes, case notes, book reviews, and statute reviews on Nigerian public law and related topics for consideration by the Editorial Board.

We are delighted to announce that the Rivers State University Journal of Private and Property Law (JPPL) has recently been upgraded to the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The Journal has also commenced its indexing and registration process with both local and international abstracting and indexing services, including African Journals Online (AJOL), Google Scholar, OpenAlex, DOAJ, and other reputable publishing databases. In addition, JPPL is currently preparing to meet the necessary compliance requirements for inclusion in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS).
